Changing Medical Research on Mobile
How can mobile apps improve our health by changing how researchers conduct medical studies? This talk focuses on ResearchKit, an open-source framework created by Apple to help scientists make better apps.
ResearchKit is a great example of how mobile technology can improve traditionnal processes, and why it matters.
I would like to give a general presentation of ResearchKit, and showcase a couple of apps powered by this framework. I would like to explain what new capabilities are made possible for medical studies with smartphones, and why it’s important for our health. Finally, I would like to talk about the open-source project itself, and how Apple enabled developers and researchers to contribute to the framework.
Mobile + web developer.
