Rust in Production
A talk about Rust, and how it's used in production
Rust is a systems programming language that focuses on safety, speed, and concurrency. Reaching 1.0 last year, Rust is a relatively new programming language, but is already seeing production use. In this talk, Steve will show you the basics of the language, while using case studies and anecdotes from production Rust users.
Steve is a prolific open source contributor, hypermedia enthusiast, and is on the Rust core team. He’s the author of “The Rust Programming Language,” “Rails 4 in Action”, and “Designing Hypermedia APIs.
