The Scrum Master, as defined by Agile literature, is responsible of maintaining the Scrum process, which calls for a deep understanding of the Scrum mechanics. But, according to many, he is also responsible of team development, continuous improvement, Agile adoption, team facilitation, change management or even one-on-one coaching. This talk will present two frameworks that include an evolution path for the Scrum Master and how to select and develop great ScrumMasters. These frameworks are based on several fields, including psychology, coaching, motivational science, communication skills, corporate culture or change management. Over all, it will give you some clues on how to identify, hire and develop great Scrum Masters.
