Some projects don't start with the idea of being big, they just start out as fun ideas, but what happens when you do grow and grow and grow! Travis started as a fun little experiment by Sven Fuchs, and quickly grew into the goto place for open source continuous integration testing. The last two years have seem tremendous growth in users, but also a huge change in how Travis is architected to deal with this level of scale. This talk will cover a bit of the history of Travis, the changes in architecture required to get to where we are, and also talk about where we are going. Along the way we will talk about issues we have hit during our growth, not just technical but also topics related to growing your team and business.
